Empowering hosts with AI-driven solutions for a seamless short-term rental experience.
QHost was born from a passion for hospitality and innovation. Our journey began with a simple goal: to empower hosts by reducing their workload while enhancing guest experiences through cutting-edge AI technology.
Meet the talented individuals behind our success.
Founder & CEO
Before launching QHost, Mike spent years in biotech, working in gene therapy and biologics sales, and later went on to found a successful tech-driven company, LeadGeeks Prospecting, which grew to 33 employees. But it was while planning his own short-term rental that inspiration struck. Originally, he imagined placing QR codes around the house linking to videos of himself explaining how to use things like the coffee maker and the TV. Then it hit him—AI could do it better. Much better.
Mike brings the vision behind QHost: a hyper-personalized AI butler for each property that not only answers questions, but makes guests feel truly at home. His superpower? Seeing problems in everyday life and designing simple, elegant solutions that actually help people. He’s all about asking customers what they need—and building exactly that.
Outside of business, Mike’s a nature junkie who once hiked 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail, served on the National Ski Patrol for 5 years, and even crewed a charter catamaran in the Virgin Islands.
Co-Founder & Head of Creative
Francis is a mechanical engineer by training, but her heart lives in branding, design, and social media. As co-founder of QHost, she leads the brand’s creative direction and support systems—ensuring every touchpoint is smooth, beautiful, and helpful.
Francis is obsessed with getting the look and feel of QHost just right. Her background in engineering helps her think structurally, while her design instincts bring the warmth and personality that make the brand feel human—even when it’s AI-powered.
To her, QHost is about more than just answering questions. It’s about making travel more fun and stress-free for guests, while helping hosts earn more 5-star reviews with less effort. It’s the kind of tool she wished existed when setting up her own rental—and now she’s building it for everyone.
